One of my good friends recently received a gift. A substantial gift, something they hadn't expected and yet something they had dreamed about. That's what friends do. They help each other out when they can. Not for what they may receive in return, but simply because they could. Some people say you can't put a price on friendship. I disagree. Some friendships I have had over the years, have ended based on other things, but in the end there was also- money. How much has been loaned out or spent on others- that's the cost of how much they valued my friendship. I view those people as whore$.
